I just don't understand. I've only watched about 2 episodes, of i believe, the second season and it is truly bad. Tyler Perrys been making things forever and i'd think he had it together to make things with good taste. But this falls below short. Its unfortunate.
A series of conversations that go on too long. None of the actors are particularly talented. A lot of the time it feels like they're stretching scenes to fill the hour.
It might be better if a character or two was compelling.

The tone of the show is very uneven. It switches between comedy and drama in a jarring manner, and many of the sets look cheap. I was looking forward to a show about black women in a positive light, but it seems that the women in this show based their lives around men and not themselves. Hopefully it will improve in time, but so far, I'm not impressed.
There's a particular episode that was really bad but this show overall was not what I expected. The storyline is interesting but the acting and script is not the best. The constant awkward pauses and repeated lines...I don't believe it needs to be cancelled, I just believe the lines need to be delivered better or the script needs to be written better...again, the storyline is on point.
I'm proud of Tyler Perry for pitching out all of these shows but I hope he knows that his fans would prefer quality over quantity.
Every movie or show he makes is nothing but black stereotypes, even if he doesn't cast the black people as drug dealers and prostitutes it is the same stereotypical plot that reads as though he truly dislikes black women.
One star for each of the women is all I could afford to give this.
