I totally understand if someone is not really on board with a film and sees a high rating that they immediately go the exact opposite route (or vice versa if you think a rating is way too low and you just plain dug a movie). But as I stated above there is a middle ground. And with an anthology movie you most likely have a mixture of stories - some will grip and some won't.
In some instances you might be love everything or hate everything of course, but if you remain open minded, you probably will select the stories/things you liked and the ones you didn't. And while life is probably not a box of chocolate (man that sugar rush would be quite something wouldn't it?), you can be assured that you will get a mixture of things. So while the quality may vary (I especially liked the spanish language one here to give one example, although even that had some minor things I disliked), this overall is more than a decent effort! If you are into horror short stories/anthologies that is

Some good ones some not that much
For horror movie fans
I was given the chance to sit down and watch the 2019 horror anthology "A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio" here in 2020. And since I hadn't already seen it, nor even heard about it, and it being a horror movie, of course I managed to find the time to sit through it.
Well, I must say that "A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio" was not exactly an outstanding nor memorable addition to the horror anthology genre. 90% of the segments were just so bland that they came and went without leaving a lasting impression. In fact, it was the first story that turned out to be the most interesting and watchable, so anything beyond that is just filling. As for the narration story that ties the stories together, well...
I will say that the narrator, Rod Wilson (played by James Wright) was actually interesting enough, and that was especially because of James Wright's performance.
If you enjoy horror anthologies, then there are far better choices available out there. ""A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio" was just not cutting it, nor bringing enough interesting contents to the table.
I am rating "A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio" a mere three out of ten stars, given the fact that the majorities of the stories were just bland or downright pointless.

7.1 avg rating upon viewing. This movie will avg out to be a 4.2 - 4.4, and thats generous.
This is not a 10 star movie. This is a 4. A few average stories, a few bad ones.
The best is the Russian subtitled one. Luck perhaps as they probably threw in a foreign language one for diversity. The rest are at most average. I'm not gonna review each segment I only am leaving a review so someone doesn't watch this expecting 10 stars.
The radio studio segments were not too good, not so much the acting but the inane writing. The whole radio studio segment is a borrowed adaptation I saw in one of many other horror anthology movies or shows but I couldn't place where, I spent more time trying to figure out where I saw it used before than caring about the bad stories.
The old music they use is by far the best thing in this movie.
