Sister Jo or whatever is totally pointless

-2 points for the whole existence of Sister Jo. She is a pointless character, if Jensen wanted his wife on the show so badly she should have died after a couple of episodes.

Have to agree with the 9/10 not a chance rating I saw earlier.

Good enough to watch with my beloved but most definitely not great!

      Destiny's Child.

It's rare for me to rate a 10/10 on an inconclusive episode, i usually keep them for big endings or 'game changer' episodes only. This was an exeption for it's rollercoaster of emotions, atmospheric tones and plot.

The last time we had an episode like this was more than half a season ago. It's got a lot of what you want in a Supernatural episode such as; Adventure, Sentimental Conversations, Dark/Emotional Music Tones, Art Direction, Comedy (decently placed), and the best of all Plot Escalation. Finally we get a big move in the story towards the end of what i hope to still call a great series.

I give a big thumbs up to the acting and cinematography in this one, this weeks was a big win for me. Loads of decent plot moments and certain character development at times (Jack mainly).

Partial review - Lisa Berry and other.

The seen where Billie informs the Winchesters of the Occultum, I was particularly impressed with how Lisa Berry's tone, and in particular her voice, brought gravitas to the message being conveyed. She really was amazingly strong in this scene. Upon reflection, I realize she has always been great as Billie, but this scene really opened my eyes to see it.

Also, the opening scene has got to be one of the best in the series. It fully displays how those involved in the show know how have fun. Jared, Jensen, and everyone involved really do know how to keep Sam and Dean from being too serious.

      Horrible writing

This episode was stupid. Ruby died in season 4, 11 years before. The angels didn't fall until season 8, 4 years after Ruby died. Jo was a small time angel that would not be going to Earth to sell miracles and it was forbidden anyway. Jo didn't start healing humans for profit until at least season 10 well after the fall from season 8s end. The entire 15th season ruined the show. If God wanted to end all the worlds and kill the Winchesters then this would have been the stupidest possible way. And how did Jo get to hell and back to bribe some random demons to attack them when they show. Hell would be huge and what would be the odds of them running into each other. She lost her wings in season 8 so how would she get to and from hell so easy. I liked the Eden part and I even laughed at their doubles but this entire season sucked. Billy's the one that sent them and they didn't even try asking her for help. The problem was too many writers each swaying the show into different directions. Basically like five different shows limping in circles and failing to make sense. RIP supernatural.

In Heart (2007), Sam beats Dean at Rock Paper Scissors and said "Oh, Dean, always with the scissors." While in the wall, AU Sam and Dean are playing RPS, and the second time Sam wins playing scissors and Dean paper. Then Dean tilts his head because Sam stole his move.
      • Goofs
This shows Jo the angel having a chat with Ruby the demon, on earth, after a faith healing show done by Jo. Jo never came to earth and started healing humans for cash until the angels fell from heaven and she needed money. Ruby was killed by Dean several seasons before this, so she couldn't be talking to Jo on earth at this time.
