    Life-changing movie

This movie has so many powerful life-changing moments. There are so theological themes of unconditional love, forgiveness, prayer, faith and etc. This is a must see for all ages and stages in life.

    Forgiveness is key

MY BROTHER'S CROSSING tells the true story of C. J. Martin, an African American pastor, and J. T. Clark, an unbelieving caucasion man, as their paths cross after a tragic accident involving Martin in August 2015. The movie takes place shortly after Ferguson and the racial unrest during the Missouri riots in August 2014. Estranged from his Christian family, Clark feels convicted of his previous beliefs about love, forgiveness and, ultimately, his faith. Meanwhile, Martin struggles with feelings of guilt and fear as the community begins to take sides for and against him. Martin must choose between letting doubt overtake him or accepting forgiveness from an unlikely source.

MY BROTHER'S CROSSING is an inspiring story about the power of forgiveness. It stresses the importance of God, attending church, Scripture, prayer, and loving your neighbor. The movie explores the racial tension in Virginia following Ferguson and the Missouri riots of August 2014, and its impact on Clark and Martin's story. The movie contains some editing and sound mistakes, but the inspirational true story and focus of Jesus allows MY BROTHER'S CROSSING to explore many Christian themes endearingly. Due to some violence and depictions of riots, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for younger children.

    So Inspirational

This movie really ties in closely to JT Clark's testimony and the book In the Blink of an Eye. I am so glad that I was able to see such an inspirational movie during these trying times.

For such a time as this!!

In the chaotic, hate driven, and viloent world that we live in today, it is refreshing to watch a movie that shows the amazing grace and power of our Soverign God. To be reminded of hope, transformation, forgiveness, and joy in the midst of tradgedy!

This movie is a must watch for believers and unbelievers. You will certainly leave the movie theater with much peace and comfort that there is hope!

Nothing to see here, read the book or the newsstory instead.

My Brother's Crossing is based on a true story, but the movie does little or nothing to do justice to the tragedy that cost a man his life. It's poorly produced with tons of montages repeated again and again. The sound is horrible due to the music sometimes makes it really hard to hear the actors saying their lines. This is a movie made by christians, for christians so that they may feel better about themselves. It also has a lot of scenes and messages that are totally unrelated to the story of the movie. I'd suggest you rather read the book or newsstory this movie is based upon because this is an atrocity to the memory of the life that was lost.
