The show is a brilliant way to expose us to the Australian comic scene. It is also a great insight into how difficult it is to be a performer and the fine line between one who is performing and one not. Sam Simmons and Ann Edmonds are hilarious as well as everybody else. 10 comedians in a room and each has their different act they have to be funny to each other and to the camera. Great show.
This could be funny - large group of comedians locked in a room trying not to make each other laugh and Rebel Wilson as the host. First episode or two were a little funny but it quickly ran out of steam. The last few of episodes were as weak as anything I have seen. Self-indulgent, unfunny frat-house humour. Even the usually wonderful Rebel couldn't save it and looked exhausted and slightly desperate by the end. Judges were very quick to get rid of some very talented female comedians and the middle-aged, white men proceeded far further than their performances should have permitted. Yawn.
If it hadn't been in lockdown I wouldn't have bothered. Suggest you don't bother. Even in lockdown.

I think this is a great concept and I thought it was genuinely funny. Haven't had a good belly laugh in a while and this is just what everyone needs at the moment. Don't believe the poor reviews; this is worth a watch.
Maybe Australians will enjoy it, dunno. It just felt like a bucketload of farts and kiddish jokes and nonsense to me. I sped up through the season, thinking maybe at least the last wpisode ahould be fun, the last remaining comedians must be the best, right? No, sir. Complete waste of time.
The first few episodes were interesting, if not funny. I expected this to be funny but quickly realised that it wasn't/wouldn't be only to find it quite interesting to see which varieties of humour were able to trip the different comedians up. Unfortunately the only comedians left at the end were filthy vulgar childish debased and uninteresting. I never found out who won, it just got sad and I couldn't hack it out. I don't mind a bit of crass humour but what makes it funny is the unexpected nature of it. When all the rules are out the door there is nowhere left to go but into boring and pitiful insanity. I feel sorry for myself that I watched as long as I did
