Deadly Promises

What in the world is with the 5.8? The actors in this film must have reviewed it. Just horrible acting and a ridiculous plot. It's almost laughable but NO!

DO NOT BOTHER.

I am dumbfuonded as to how anybody could give this movie more than a 1 rating. This movie was so bad it doesn't even deserve the 1 rating. Avoid at all costs.....

Contrary to some of the opinions here, I found the acting to be really decent. The movie was interesting for about 20 minutes in, then it steadily started to crumble in terms of logic, character reactions and decisions. At some point the plot holes just became too vast to overlook. Some of them could have been avoided, others were due to the script.

I don't normally address this but here the audio mixing and editing was really off at times. The licensed music suddenly jumped way too much in volume, the score sometimes was too quiet and one actress lacked the proper set editing in re-recording and thus sounded completely detached from the scene.

All in all I see potential in Joseph Ramos and I can let this one slide as it's his first feature. For his next project I hope he reads the script more thoroughly and establishes a more independent approach to the material.

Advice for viewers: either avoid or look at the technical aspects, e.g. What could have been done better in terms of story, characters, editing and directing.

Teenage thriller in a highschool environment, where some gets lots of love and some nothing, and the winner of the lot has got so manymoths being attracted towards her light and usually two is one too many in the good old fashion manner, a game that only the fittest will survive.

but its bad acting from a to z, its a clumsy production allround, the comedylines doenst impress much, and neither do the thrills. it feels like a senior high media class making their final exam product, where the scissors hasnt been sharpened for years and the glue slipped of the joints of weird transitions, and the story are so basic and wornout, combined with a musical score that comesa and goes with a life of its own.

no this was not fodder for the tired grumpy old man, a no recommend.

There is nothing original, from poster (call of duty ghost) to anything. Name it, anything. Story, cast, cinematography, script, direction anything. And the worst thing is it's utter BSness . Not just a waste of time. The horrible experience will ruin your day.
