    A flawed script!

Undoubtedly there has been some superlative performances from the entire cast of Sreemoyee barring few trends of over acting.

The culprit here is the script which has been stretched unnecessarily. It started off well until the character of June Guha going to jail. The episodes of Dithi's love affair was still bearable and could have given a closure. However the return of the character of June Guha along with the glimpse of her tormenting Sreemoyee's life is going to be taxing on the viewer's mind.

The character of the Protagonist being innocent and "cannot error " is incomprehensible. It is like those films wherein the Hero is always right. Come on we are dealing with Humans here n let the characters behave like human not God. Except the Protagonist every other character is allowed to make mistakes/crimes and all actions of the Protagonist can be justified as just.. This is ridiculous.

It takes a lot of knowledge to write a well balanced script wherein every character is prone to make mistakes and offer something new. This is the same old run of the mills story with predictable outcomes.

Let the Great minds realize that a life of n individual has more variations then the one depicted here. Let's not keep projecting women in the same light of century old traditions and beliefs. It does no help the women but make them think in one way with blinders on. Women are the Power which when unleashed can create history . It is ok to be innocent but not to an extent wherein the Protagonist inspite of becoming self dependent, becomes selective and keeps giving chances to the negative character thinking she will amend. Wakeup , women are not that fool and please stop protecting them as stupid. It is an insult to the finest creation of God-woman.

Read somewhere that the author is not worried about reviews. I would humbly remind her that an author, a producer, a director is indebted to Audience for their very existence. None of these individuals would ever survive without an audience or a reader. Hence please respect reviews of your audience. Don't ignore or disrespect them else your existence is surely at stake.

Please don't get into a competition of running a serial for 1000+ episodes. An episode of 300 can create an impression and can stay on the audience's mind for ages as long as it has a story which is sensible. Don't torment the audience 's mind with such mindless scripts because the day the audience finds a better alternative to engage, they will throw such shows to the garbage.

Not everyone has the gift to write and if you have one don't waste your and ours time with such garbage. Explore the minds of individuals to create better scripts.

Sreemoye - a mockery of womanhood

It brings us, the viewers, utter dismay every time one is forced to come to terms with the glorified central character who is actually lacking in character. Brings shame to the entire Bengali society that has always challenged every other society in terms of liberations that have led to great struggles to empower womanhood.

Here's a woman who loves to stay with her ex-husband and his new wife in the same house. She doesn't that unapologetically. She is okay with taking favours from her boyfriend but she cannot be committed to him because she is an escapist. While she indulges in promoting the villainous schemes of her divorced husband's wife she has no bone of tolerance for a person who is loved by her daughter. Her daughter's love interest cannot be given a chance since he's from a poor background but Sreemoyee's middle class outlook allows her to be a masochist.

Sreemoyee means the emasculate Lakshmi. Indrani Halder is all set to play this amusing character but little does she realise that generations later her choice to portray Sreemoyee may be the most uninspiring.

One cannot think of any Bengali family that allows a divorced woman to stay with her ex-husband and his wife. All the help by the strong Rohit Sen is well taken by this lady but only to aid her to stay in this regressive alliance.

Hats off to the story writer, director and producers who want to set up an new normal for the society. If you are wandering why do I see the serial then I admit that I don't see it but the excerpts are continuously flashed by the channel when you are watching the other serials.

    Worst Detective Show

Somebody call Byomkesh Bakshi or Feluda, the job of a detective is not for Sreemoyee.

Indeed, this show is dumb, and everything about it is also dumb.

A good start but now boring, repititive

The story is ongoing. Currently I have watched 290 eisodes and rating based on it.

Pro: 1.Acting casts are superb. 2.Start of the story and premise of the serial.

CONS: 1.The whole story 2.Extremely boring and repititve scenes 3.Extra generous and stupid decisions by sreemoyee.

What a good start of the story was?...was not exploited. The story in the later part could have shown how sreemoyee is empowering other women, having huge milestone in her life through her own effort. But we are seeing same one track story of home violence, villian goes unpunished and spoon feeding of Rohit sengupta in every critical scenerio.

All in all, a total frustration.

How a person make same mistake like 100 times?

Her husband and one of her son didn't like her because she was dumb. Now she is acting like a dumb, repeating same mistake again and again and again.
