One of the rare movies where Sripriya and Karthik are siblings in law . Sripriya has a mature role in this . She faces a lot of hardships .First her brother and sister i in law Thengai Srinivasan and Manorama throw her out because of some property fights. They are comic villains here and are still very likeable in that role . Its impossible to hate Manorama in any role . She runs away and her former lover Sarath Babu finds her and marries her . She starts living a life of luxury and happiness finally but sarath Babu and her mother in law are killed by a villain over some business matter. She starts taking charge of the entire business while earning sarath Babu's brother's affection equally . He grows up to be Karthik who is perfect for this role . He must be in his early 20s then and fits the role of an awkward teenager very well. He falls for his college mate Radha who is the daughter of the villain . Our Tamil movies are full of such coincidences . Radha is pretty , young and slim , wears nice chiffon saris and matching jewellery .She is a pure eye candy . Some misunderstanding about Sripriya leads both Radha and Karthik to squabble . Every thing becomes OK in the end with Sripriya forgiving one and all and the villain getting punished for his misdeeds . Its a strong female oriented role which Sripriya plays well. She wears costly white silk sarees to show her status . Karthik is super as torn between his sister in law and demanding wife .
