I was not impressed with the premiere show. When this trio was on the old "Ghost Hunters", there was an obvious effort to debunk. Now we see a heavy reliance on "talking to ghosts" with their alleged response to flashing lights to conclude that the ghost of so and so was present. Likewise too much emphasis is placed on EMF evidence.
For paranormal investigators you'd think they'd be more excited about going to these amazing places.. there's no excitement, life or enthusiasm with these guys.. they could of made this show way better it's just boring listening to them.. I'd rather watch Casper the friendly ghost again... there's way better paranormal shows out there this should be on the kids channel...
I love the original Ghost Hunters. That was a truly groundbreaking show and was the catalyst for all the other ghost shows that have followed it.
However, the new Ghost Nation is a let down. I do love how they delve into the history of each location, but it seems that the outcome is always the same. "Nothing is malicious here and you have nothing to worry about".
One positive thing I will say is they don't over dramatize events and sensationalize things like Ghost Adventures. Could Zak Bagans be any more of a drama queen? This is much more realistic and low-key than Ghost Adventures.
I also miss the chemistry between Grant and Jason. They were a good team together.

Really disappointed with this show. Basically GHOST NATION is what I called GHOST HUNTERS LITE (Beta Edition). Feels like all 3 guys are bored to death with their careers and are phoning it in for a paycheck. They really offer no solution or rarely any evidence..of anything. I'll take Destination Fear, The Dead Files or even The Holzer Files which at least offers an interesting framework around an investigation.
Honestly, I had hope, and it has been only one show. But oh my, lots of problems. These guys were fun and loose (well, Steve and Tango) on Ghost Hunters, they are strangely silent here. Most of the show revolves around recaps of what happened in the previous segment, and voice overs from mainly Jason. BTW, Steve, when they give you the voice over script, read it over before recording it. Way too stilted. Better yet, stop with all the voice overs. Just talk among yourselves while en route to whatever you are going to do. And stop with all the cuts of spooky filtered photo footage.
The wrap up just seemed to happen. There was no reviewing any possible evidence. But in reality, you didn't use anything much to review, like recorders.
Just humanize this show. What they have now is mostly recaps and discombobulated episodes.
