Wayward drifter Lance is just looking for some food when he is captured by cannibal Psychs. After Psychs and Lance save each other's lives, they become destined to travel as companions - whether Lance likes it or not.
Lance and Psychs stumble upon a strange object that throws their life into further chaos. Confused and hungry, they go searching for answers. This puts them in the cross-hairs of deadly assassin Ulna, Daughter of Cinders.
Psychs and Lance happen upon a new and resistant traveling partner who gets roped into their quest. The gang comes up against their first truly frightening challenge in the imposing Ruckus.
Ruckus sends Lance, Psychs, and Fish on a mission to lift spirits from his office. The gang continues to be hunted by Ulna, and are sent a new guide by Sarah.
In the season finale, the gang attempts desperately to recoup in a safe location and open the safe that Psychs has locked the cure inside. But naturally, nothing is safe in these parts.
