Two new doctors appear at once in a private gynecological clinic: Natalya Timchenko, the new head of the gynecological department, and Alexander Rodionov, who claims to be just a regular doctor. Natalya and Alexander seem to like each other, but past injuries and secrets keep them from revealing their true feelings. A surprising rival appears on Alexander's path, Dr. Sedelnikov - In the new season Lev Borisovich Kvitkon rules the clinic. Now the Professor supervises the laboratory research aimed to correct defective fetal genes in the womb. While Lev Borisovich is consumed by his research work, his restless wife Vita Igorevna is trying to handle with nimble younger twins: there are no places in kindergartens, and Vita has already sat up on the maternal leave. Meanwhile Oleg Chernov suddenly reappears in the clinic. It is Professor Rosenthal, who sets hi, back willing to appropriate the results of studies of the Kvitko genetic laboratory, whatever it might take.
