The plot was very unique to say the least. The show is based around a machine that is used that allows the detective to dive "wells" from serial killers (which can be seen as their unconscious). Through these wells the deceives figure out who the serial killer is and who their victims are/will be. I really enjoyed the story over all and there were many twists that I did not expect. Some of the characters in this show are pretty basic and don't have any development. But the main character and even two side characters have development that drive the story. Throughout the show, the main character's story is revealed slowly as his character develops. Sakaido has got to be one of my favourite characters at the moment (especially due to his voice acting, his voice actor has a great voice and displays emotions very well). I really enjoyed the show and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of mystery, thriller, or detective shows. The strong point was definitely how unique the plot was.
Freudian depth psychology meets gruesome serial killings. What a challenging storyline. Wonderful aesthetic, great voice acting, very clever dialogue script. Watched all 13 parts on one day! 9.5/10!
First, I need to clear that this is vreat anime and worth watching. It has borrowed lots of ideas from the famous show Psycho-pass but it doesn't look like a copy paste. It has made the ideas for its own and I appreciate that. Although I like the experience it suffers from many plot holes and lack of character development. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that story is focused and doesn't waste the audience time with showing every characters background. But sometimes in order for story to move on we might need more out of the character. My major problem with this show is the quality of the anime and the lack of imagination in direction. The quality is not great. Character design and world building could a million times better. Imagine this had the quality and the artistic direction of Psycho-pass. Nonetheless it's a good anime with good ideas. I recommend it.

I just don't understand why people have given this series such low ratings to make the average a mere 7.
