According to Ana Olívia Seripieri, it was when she was part of this series that she no longer wanted to act. Seripieri had been a young Chiquititas Brasil (1997) star and grew up working on other SBT dramas (like this one) before leaving her acting career. It is her final acting role as of 2023.
The title theme is performed by the three final contestants of Ídolos (2006): Thaeme Mariôto, Shirley Carvalho and Lenny Bellard. Mariôto won the debut season.
Silvio Santos had episodes cut down - and the series ultimately shelved from its original airing in 2007, due to poor ratings. The 2011 rerun turned out different: ratings came out twice higher, and Santos ordered the show to be aired on its entirety.
Letícia Dornelles accused Walcyr Carrasco of copying her lines from this series on his Globo TV drama Seven Sins (2007). Carrasco denied such claims.
