Starts out as a formula Lifetime Christmas movie and then through the magic of the shoes slowly evolves into an introspective exploration of how the shoes made her the person she is today. If this story sounds familiar, its because it is. The second half of the movie feels like a lost episode of Being Erica with the shoes serving the role of Dr. Tom and supporting actors sounding remarkably like Erica's friends. Being Erica fans craving for one more episode will enjoy this Christmas knockoff. For those who didn't see the show, its something a bit different from the formula Lifetime Christmas movie to fill an evening.
What gets me & know a movie, why wearing open toe shoes & no stocking? It's winter snow on ground. I thought was getting little girl skates.
When does she sleep, decorate all night, thn goes to work, which is like right next door. They're neighbors but never seem run into each other outside house.
These reviews really kill me with having to be 600 characters. There really isn't that much to say. I just wanted to leave a comment and keep it moving. Okay 142 still Okay, I'm from Boston, Patriots, and been living in Georgia for about 20 years, haven't been back except maybe twice, but will always be home to me. Will NOT claim GA.

Like many Christmas films, just nice. The axis - a seductive idea about shoes and about choices. Romance, options, friendship and decent performances. Nothing original or spectacular but smart manner to use pieces of the genre for a not so bad film about signs, grandmother, mistakes and the fair to yourself way.
Loved this one. Good connection between couple.
Held my attention.
Nice story, a little different at last.
The usual Lifetime Christmas movie (bad script, bad acting) with an unknown Canadian actress Erin Karpluk, an annoying actress who talks too fast. Christmas shoes, really? And her window displays for the Candy store were awful. I wish Lifetime and Hallmark would stop making these awful movies.

- TriviaThe Sinterklaas ritual of candy filled shoes resembles Christmas stockings. In the week leading up to December 5th, the shoes are placed in front of the fireplace and are filled with a carrot, some hay or accompanied by a bowl of water for Sinterklaas' horse. These are exchanged for small gifts of candy.
- GoofsThe shoes are red when unboxed, but then turn bubblegum pink.
