Sandylands

Tuned in for the first episode and quickly felt compelled to watch all 3. Lovable characters, a cracking seaside setting, a well-written script executed brilliantly by a 5-star cast. Sandylands is a breath of fresh air. Can't wait for Series 2. Only wish there were more episodes per series; it was too short.

Had no idea it was a comedy, though. I mean, I didn't laugh once, but still enjoyed it. Are you sure it's a comedy? Obviously, if you're looking for something to make you laugh, you might want to watch something else...

Funny, serious. Loveable writing/acting.. Want to see what is next. Particularly liked Sanjeev Bhaskar as "Les Vegas." Bronwyn James/Simon Wade as police officers and Sophie Thompson as Jeannie Swallows

Easy watching comedy that has lots of relatable characters in. Sweet and heartwarming, it's a nice tale that doesn't take itself too seriously, but has lots of depth. Defo worth a watch, there had better be a season 2!
