Max Neptune and the Menacing Squid

Make-up Effects Supervisor, Dominic Alfano, also played the character, Martian the Kidd. The first prototype he made of the mask had no seeing capabilities. He had to rely on the sound cues given by his fellow crewmates on which direction to run and when to stop. One time he was running so fast, the crew had to shout "Stop! Stop! Stop!" just moments before he toppled over the edge of a steep cliff.
