Centaurworld

I was very skeptical of this show because of how over the top and unfocused the humor seemed from the trailer and honestly throughout the series in the general. BUT it was seriously worth the patience to get to the end because it's so clear that this show has a lot more to offer than it lead us to believe and it's made me very excited for a second season. You get glimpses of something dark going on in the background of the show from the beginning, and the payoff is worth it once you reach the end of the season and everything starts to come together. If you like adventure time, Steven universe, legend of Korra, the owl house, midnight gospel and other similar shows, seriously give this a shot, get to the end and see how you feel because it exceeded my expectations.

This show is very 2012 cartoon network. It pushes the boundaries of goofy/weird but still has incredible heart at the core of the plot. Not everyone's going to enjoy it or "get it", heck I went in expecting the worst from the trailer, but it ABSOLUTELY succeeds what it set out to and those who enjoy this genre will love it.

Excellent animation, music, style, concept everything. Make more of this!

Everything about this show is very very good.

The animation is fantastic. The voices are great. The singing ranges from good to amazing.

What brings it down slightly is the story being a bit predictable and the over the top zaniness making it sometimes more "WTF?" than lol.

Be warned though. If you don't like cartoons with occasional songs, like MLP etc, this cartoon has tons of songs. Some lyrics are great and it works well, other lyrics are... Well.. serviceable..

It's absurd and silly for much of the show while simultaneously delivering consistent and recurring moments of beautiful raw emotional intensity...from a horse and a llama... This ungulate driven show has absolutely no business possessing the degree of song and vocal quality it has, but it does so unabashedly and to great effect. We never know what to expect, but it's certainly never boring in its zany, charming, and albeit sometimes inappropriate, humor and dialogue. Fun, wacky, emotional and brilliantly musical; I loved everything it (almost literally) threw at me and will eagerly await season 2.
