better than episode 2, but still just okay

Okay so episode 2 was pretty horrible when comparing it to the first episode. The source material is okay for episode 2, but it did adapt my least favorite part of the manga so I was already expecting it to be worse than episode 1. We all know that the episode's only problem was not the weaker source material.

Episode 3 is a bit better since it adapts a pretty good part of the manga. The pacing is also not horrible. It isn't as rushed as episode 2 and does adapt the manga pretty well when it comes to the plot. Animation quality is still pretty bad and that makes it less enjoyable to watch.

This was pretty okay overall and Episode 4 will probably be the same quality as the last 2 episodes when it comes to the animation, but i'm still excited to see how they end the series.

Part three of the series hits its strongest narrative point yet.

To get it out of the way, the animation was more solid than episode two, but still not as fluid as episode one. It is no matter, episode three is incredible. This episode was easily the most focused as the majority of the episode took place in one location. The fact that they have been able to get so many of these stories woven together in a 130-150 minute mini-series is nothing short of incredible. There are numerous loose ends that are also tied together in this episode from the previous two episodes and it works really well.

This show somehow made it to reality against all odds and I am loving every minute of it. The final episode will be coming to wrap up this haunting, terrifying series and I cannot think of a better way that this could have made it from the manga into an animated series that millions of people will see and be pulled into the spiral.
