    Nice Try

A very nice short movie to highlight issue of young age marriages.

The way it pictures local culture and visuals and specially the rooftop life is awesome.

I don't know why the audio is not added which made the message weak and less interesting to the audience.

    Nice short animation

Sitara is a dramatic pakistani short film distributed by Netflix. It's visually beautiful, without dialogues, and good character designs. It happens in the 70's - although I only know this because I read the synopsis - and I found interesting to see some similarities between the children of Pakistan and the kids of my homeland (Brazil) since both like to play with kites.

But I digress. This film deals with a delicate subject matter - and you will realize which theme it is way before the end, just pay attention to the difference ages of the main couple. I recommend this film, I hope to see more good animation from Pakistan!

Parents be aware of subject matter...

Watch this first! Not a cartoon for kids to watch alone... and family discussion should ensue. Good short film for cultural awareness, but not for entertainment. The trailer is misleading as is the "overview" on Netflix screen.

at par with disney or pixar shorts

A short should move you in minimum scenes and words. this one does without a single word spoken . Its a must watch . The minimalistic expressions of side characters convey their stand on the subject clearly. Just because something isnt happy , doesn't make it non entertaining. If this doesn't move you , then you are dead inside and can lick a corona infested railing.
