    Make this instead of Disco

After the departure of Jason Isaacs from Discovery they struck gold with Anson Mount as Pike. I couldn't really care less about the characters left in the main Discovery show, personally I would prefer to see more Pike/Spock/No.1 on the Enterprise and ditch the main Discovery.

    Finally,Star Trek is here !!!

The show looks great without that stupid Discovery soundtrack, the new one totally rocks and now i really want to see another Enterprise show, because without that BAD Discovery legacy everything looks great again. It will be great if you will replace that yellow logo page with something blue or purple maybe, and that lame Discovery old fonts, too ,because they are ridiculous. Please keep Anson Mount in the franchise ,because he is a great actor and nobody wants to see him leaving.

Great insight into Pike's return to the Enterprise

First, there's a LOT of complaining in other reviews over an 8 min Short Trek being too short, but folks, SHORT is in the title. And of course the one who complained this was "woke" advocated for shooting Pike to make him stop talking. That's a political commentary if I ever saw one!!

This episode came out as a segue between Discovery and an anticipated new series about Pike commanding the Enterprise. "Ask Not" was a poignant commentary on Pike. It also seems like a not-so-subtle homage to Wesley Crusher's "psych test." Very clever!

    • Trivia
The title is an apparent allusion to "Soldier, Ask Not," a poem, novella, and novel by science fiction writer Gordon R. Dickson. It may also be an allusion to a quotation from John F. Kennedy or a common misquotation of John Donne's Meditation XVII.
    • Crazy credits
Other than the episode title, there are no opening titles.
