Fragments in the Wind: 1945 is beautifully shot, it has a subtle and soft cadence, that contrast with it's heavy theme - the persecution of german immigrants in Brazil during Getulio Vargas' dictatorship. One has to appreciate the beautiful sets and Paula Souza's stunning acting that carry the film onward.
