    Rose And Her Cousins

Miss Brodie thinks Rose, a motherless girl in the class has "instinct".

A very good episode. It begins with music teacher Mr Lawson giving singing lessons and talking about chest and abdominal exercises. Miss Gaunt walks by and is offended. Mr Lawson also gives piano lessons to Rose. Miss Brodie tries to help Rose to be more involved with the arts, since Rose says she is more interested in cars. When Sandy and Jenny find out Rose has male cousins, they seek to investigate them for their book. They go to Rose's house for tea. The funniest scene is when Rose and her cousins play with a train set and Sandy and Jenny don't know what to do. Sandy gets a crush on Rose's father. Miss Brodie intervenes when some of the other girls call Rose "teacher's pet".
