During and after Alive 2 Kiss lost of Peter Criss and Ace Frehley.
Kiss had lost their way. Drummer Eric Carr (RIP) and Vinnie Vincent injected new life into Paul and Gene.
Vincent played on 2 albums Creatures and Lick it Up. However for reasons beyond my knowledge he left.
The Creatures tour was a failure, Lick it Up tour faired much better.
So this is from their next tour Animalize. Not as good an album as either Creatures or Lick it. But the show was top notch. Gene, Paul and Eric now had Bruce Kulick as lead guitarist (brother Bob had played some earlier Kiss tunes.)
If you like the music of Kiss, it does not get much better than this. So
Lick it Up.
