First off, it goes to show you only in today's WOKE society would two people be so stupid as to accept some sort of outlandish ritual fertility treatment such as the one featured here. No one is that stupid, except all you WOKERS.
But funny, they go through all this kaakaa just to have a ridiculous ending like the one we get here. But at least the right person was killed although really, all of them should have been killed.
The most disappointing thing, I guess the baby turned out normal after all.
4/10.
Its allthoughits human thematics a horror genericly made film, it has its issues and does have a few strains that slips due to overuse of ultrasound gelatics, but the actors does a great job, the spirits of the acts are well done indeed, the special effects well executed on a moderate budget, even though the beginning and the end of the movie lacks some coherence, the grumpy old man finds this film highly recommendable, not a prescriptive method to make the big break of populating the planet, but a fresh idea to work on for others or maybe a sequel by the vampyrical production crew and bloodthirsty director of the film ''blood born''.
It has its flaws ,but it reflects the desperation of those that hopes and prays, alittle goryhere and there, blood is inevitably connected to child birth, so whether faint hearted or not, it made me have a good morning hour watch. Have a look without expectation and youll be happy ever after.
The movie's synopsis definitely sounded interesting enough, and I must admit that I do like the concept idea of the storyline and script here.
However, the movie was just lacking punch and impact. Sure, the movie was watchable, but it was just not a horror movie that managed to stand out in the vast sea of horror movies. And I do believe, that "Blood Born" is a movie that I will most likely have forgotten about come next week.
The pacing of the storyline was adequate, but there was just too little happening throughout the course of the movie to keep me sufficiently entertained. Sure, I sat through the entire movie, but I was only mildly entertained by what transpired on the screen. And I was missing that particular special ingredient to push the movie above and beyond the limitations of mediocrity.
The acting in "Blood Born" was adequate, taking into consideration the limitations of the script and storyline. I wasn't familiar with anyone on the cast list, and that is something I enjoy. And that was certainly working well in favor of the movie, despite of the movie never rising above mediocrity.
Sure, "Blood Born" is a movie that can be watched once, but it is doubtful that you'll ever return to watch it a second time. I know I am not going to do that.
The ending of the movie was sort of very, very predictable and also very anti-climatic. It sort of made me feel like writer and director Reed Shusterman ended up slapping me in the face with a cold, dead fish after I had sat through that ordeal.
My rating of "Blood Born" lands on a less than mediocre four out of ten stars. It was watchable, yes, but it just fell into a slump and never really managed to take me on a thrilling ride.
