Several rustic filming locations were used for THE LAST RESORT short film. The main filming location was the Patrick and Margaret Lucas homestead, built in 1898. The crumbled homestead is located at the Castlewood Canyon State Park in Colorado. Another very old and rustic location that was used for the film was the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Black Hawk, Colorado, established in the 1860s. The legendary cemetery is famous for its ghostly activity.
