Such an amateur take on the British drama Liar. Watched it merely for the Spanish as I currently study it but this is painful to watch. Bad acting, aweful writing. Just bad. Avoid.
Well......this was a decent written series but it was EXACTLY the same as the British thriller Liar however it lacked substance n suspense n charisma . It was basically run of the mill.
The acting was rather dull n lacklustre.
The ending was pretty much predictable.
I recommend this series if you like mystery thrillers.

Started quite brightly but each subsequent episode just gets worse and worse. It is so badly written and the characters (especially the victims) so poorly drawn that you end up sympathising with the villain and hoping that he's really innocent of multiple rapes.
Avoid at all costs!

I liked the series in general, but I did not love it. The positives are the good acting and the photography on an island, the beach brighten up the atmosphere a bit. Despite the unrealism the series is quite entertaining.
The negatives: The feminism throughout the series is enormous! It starts in a very unrealistic way, the police investigating so actively from the beginning? That doesn't work like that, but it's a series and in this case pure fiction. Quite quickly the series begins to decline when introducing the story about the sister, which tarnishes the main theme, and above all it has nothing to do with it, it is only to fill minutes. The last two chapters are totally incredible and ridiculous, but also exciting. In the end you almost hate the victim, Laura, more than the rapist, a gun? Please! You've fallen under!!
A pity that the main topic has not been treated with more respect and truthfulness.

... Spanish thriller drama series consisting of a remake of the British series Liar... called Lies & Deceit on Netflix... IMDb median rating is '7'... and that's about right... well cast & produced, there are some inconsistencies yet overall the show is entertaining... endings for these types of series can be iffy propositions & this one is not altogether satisfying... but majority of viewers agree it is worth-watching.
