    Seriously?

Imagine yourself going to a fine gourmet restaurant... and watching other people eat.

That summarizes this show. What we have here is a bunch of gamers sitting around a table uh... gaming. You can see the same thing at any sci/fan/anime convention. You ever gone to a convention and just stood around a gaming table watching other people game? If not, there's probably a good reason why: it's boring.

Those deeply into pencil & dice role playing might take interest in this simply because they can see how a good game master and quality players engage in role play. I can't say for sure, because I couldn't even make it all the way through episode 1.

I might recommend this as a good cure for insomnia. It's probably great for people who think watching a game of golf is exciting (only golf has more action). Viewers might fare better turning this show off... and inviting some friends over to enjoy an actual role playing game. Instead of going to a restaurant and watching other people eat... enjoy the food yourself.

Really interesting to see adults enjoying this together.

    Random observations.

Interesting how much more verbal the 3 women are. In the end they are much better players. When I was young laying this game in the 80s, it was a problem that basically the game went from fight to fight without all of the non combat storyline. I really think a difference was we didn't have any female players.

I found myself watching this and being fairly jealous that I can't participate in a game like this. Watching, I remember the hours spent creating a character, painting figurines, drawing out maps on graph paper, trying to develop storylines, obsessively reading adventure modules and guides.

    Horrible

Horrible a bunch of the DM giving the players too much freedom, DM is supposed to ask them what they wanna do, not the player stating what they are gonna do, he is giving them too much democracy, he is supposed to control the narrative and not let them control the narrative. You can't just cast an ability for free anytime you so choose. Not many dice rolls and gameplay, just brainstorming narrative between everyone, horrible show, with actors no one gives a darn about. I feel it's ruined by having actors who like being the center of attention and the want the actors to talk alot like they are lines in a movie, the players seem to have more control than the DM, and he lets them take over whenever they want, especially the women especially the one with femdom attitude.
