Congratulations to Team Sufna for making a beautiful love story that revived the romance genre of Indian cinema. The cinematography, screenplay, acting, directing, music, editing and overall experience throughout this movie is top-notch! Many moments in the movie reminds/conveys to the audience important messages/morals in life. The story is extremely humbling and connects to every human being on a deeply sincere and very real level. Hats off to everyone involved in this project. May this project be a platform that launch you all to achieve greater success.
One of the best romantic films ever . Nice story & best performance. Ammy virk is an awesome singer & awesome actor too. I lobed him in qismat & now in sufna.

Well written and equally well directed love story of Jeet and Teg. The role of Jeet has been excellently played by Ammy Virk. So is true for the role of Teg played by Tania. This is a fantastic love story with depth and intensity in it. A must watch for the whole family.

It's one of the best romance genere movie I've seen so far... Nowadays many movies are being made about love which revolve on a useless plot of the people pretending themselves to be modern , cool etc. & believing on one night stand , friends with benefits only.
But a movie like this talking about what true love is, its worth watch if you like romantic dramas.

I don't review often but after watching Sufna i couldn't stop myself from giving my honest opinion about the movie. I have seen a lot of Punjabi movies but i must admit that Sufna is by far the best movie i have ever seen along with 1984 Punjab. Story is quite simple and novel unlike clichéd rom-coms and slapstick comedies which is in trend now in Punjabi film industry.
Sufna's Story:-
Sufna is a story of Tej (Tania) an orphan girl which is still waiting for her disappeared Army officer father and lives with her Tau Ji and Tai Ji and Ammy VirK plays Jeet is a free-spirited youth in the village, he doesn't care or has not any goal in the life. But his life changes, when he meets Tej, and how Tej slowly gives direction to his life and encourage Jeet to understand the true meaning of life and how social and economical barriers comes as an obstacles in their life. Does Tej reunite with her lost father? Does Jeet get succeed in his life? Does Tej & Jeet get over with theses social and economical obstacles? you have to watch the movie for getting these answers
Performances:- Tania as Tej gives the best performance of her life she has played a really very complex and sensitive character with great ease. The way she talks to her deceased mother and her wait for her lost father are really tear jerking she has shown a wide range of emotions in her dramatic scenes and looked quite funny and cute in light moments her scenes with Ammy Virk are absolute gems I hope she will be on a different league after this movie on the other hand Ammy is in top form his acting prowess is getting better and better with each and every film his transition from an aimless student to a mature lover who is determined to change his situation is really praiseworthy and comic scene with Jagjeet Sandhu and Balwinder Bullet is very hilarious and all the supporting cast specially Seema Kaushal gives good support to the movie.
Music:- Music by B Praak and Lyrics by Jaani is the backbone of the movie each and every song is situational, ear pleasing and melodious. Ammi & Qubool Ae is my favourite of them.
Direction:- After Qismat, Jagdeep Sidhu once again proved his mettle as a skilled storyteller and I am sure he will be the next big thing in Punjabi Film Industry he blend emotions, romance, comedy in the right proportion in the movie he came out with the best out of their lead pair and all the star cast he handled a sensitive and emotional subject with great perfection overall a must watch for family audience and true movie lovers.

Positive Points -
1. Good acting by all the actors, especially both the leads
2. Amazing Cinematography.
3. Good and real life like drama.
Negative Points - 1. Very weak and ordinary storyline. 2. Movie basically focuses on the characters and their families rather than the story. 3. The movie seems to be too stretched, boredom prevails many a times while watching it. 4. The audience has to figure out a lot of points for themselves and at the same time, presume a lot of things too.
Note - The movie basically shows and focuses too much on the point how both the leads fall in love with each other while missing the whole story, still appreciable in terms of drama, nice ending, 1 time watch.

This movie is the best punjabi film I've seen in a very long time - acting is superb, and the music is a fusion between Mediterranean and Punjabi - a really melodic collaboration. I just didn't want it to end and could watch it again and again.

The screenplay is little bit slow , but the director tackle this very wisely . He plot the story and scene play one by one .

I usually don't rate movies and even if i do, i share it with my friends and family. i never ever posted a review for a movie online before but this movie just insisted me to rate it 10/10. Amazing movie the emotions, the romance are beautifully picturised after the movie angrej which had been the paramount benchmark for me ever since i watched was rated 9.5/10 by me and Sufna just beated it. Before intermission movie is awesome 10/10 and after intermission its 9.5/10. Loved it. I never imagined that not just 1 but 2 Punjabi movies will be my favorite.

High on Emotions and Simply Stunning! In the Entire duration of the movie, I kept on "Smiling and Smiling and Smiling" The story is woven very beautifully around the central characters, 60% of the movie belongs to Tegh(Tania) and rest to Jeet(Ammy). I bet, one could not stop laughing whenever Tarsem(Jagjeet) and Bagga(Balwinder) appears on the screen, where later has the caliber to make the audience laugh hysterically with his simple one liners in English. Movie concentrates on the theme that:"You can't get true love through spells, one has to endure lot of pain to achieve it". Jeet realized it with the help of Tegh who is Born to a Kashmiri Muslim mother and Sikh father but orphaned, yet knows the value of true selfless love, the one she reciprocates by making sure the boy goes out to study, work and get a job and not be an aimless lover, which he is till the time of the interval. All credit to Jagdeep Sidhu's beautiful story, superb direction, and melodious music of Jaani-BPraak is what makes this film stand apart. The Best of Punjabi Industry in Dramedy genre till now.

A wonderful movie which shows the emotions, hopes, struggle, up and downs of lower middle class Punjabi youth. The movie, the characters, the story & screenplay, the acting & direction all were wonderfully managed. It was an emotional experience to watch. Writer/director Jagdeep Sidhu must refrain from using double standard jokes in Punjabi Cinema & that scene of village man chasing Jeet's friend Bagga (Balwinder Bullet) was totally unnecessary. We don't expect this type of stuff in a good movie, apart from it i really enjoyed it.
I would recommend it to watch if you want to try something different from the storm of comedy movies.
