I was not at all into the first episode, but kept watching because it's Covid times and I'm bored. It got more goofy and lovable as time went on, and you become attached to the characters (and the quirkiness of the puppeteering) and the puppets themselves / the absurdity of it all.
It's not genius but it's cute, harmless fun. A lot of the guests are fun and on point, and it's well edited. It makes me smile, even if it's dumb. I think we all need a smile where we can get one... plus in true muppet fashion, it's kid friendly but there are jokes only adults will be giggling at.
Tilting the score a bit higher because it deserves more of a chance to grow.

I watched all of the episodes of Earth to Ned in one afternoon. It took me an episode or two to get into it, but I loved it. I think the episode with the Jenny Slate segment was the funniest one! They were all entertaining. The characters are great. I like that the celebrity interaction seems casual. It doesn't feel like a scripted show. I hope there are more episodes to come! I'm looking forward to meeting Ned's dad eventually. Give it a chance.
I was hooked after the first episode. Andy Richter was hilarious as the abducted special guest. Ned the host who is also an alien space captain abandons his plans to destroy earth and pursue a career as a talk show host. Ned is very ignorant about the ways of humans but trying his best to fit in while drinking humans favorite beverage... mayonnaise...😆 this is a very fun watch.
I was highly skeptical, because of other shows like Muppets Tonight that have tried a similar concept and fell flat. After a few episodes, I found myself full on giggling at the absurdity of it all.
It's very light and silly, the voice acting (and editing) is very solid, the creature/puppet design is great... it's all just goofy fun. I've had a hard time winning others over to give it a chance, but it's a refreshingly silly little show with some lovably odd alien puppets that might make you smile if you let them.

Overall I like the show. I realize it is puppets. However they still can communicate a message to adults and children alike. In episode three, one Clod kills another Clod in an unfair manner. They were both to put their weapons away. One did and the other killed him. Cornelius's comment was, oh don't worry. It's only a clod. You may think I take things too seriously, but in today's environment with people being killed unnecessarily it shows that life of others is not necessarily valuable if they're not like us. So to say it's OK because it's only a Clod bothers me. If I were watching with a child, I definitely have to discuss this with them.
