OK, the celebrities didn't really put it together, the professional choirmasters did. But the performances, though not perfect, were *very* good. The pit band was superb (kudos to the rhythm section and especially that tastefully hot bass player). The overall quality of the music was very high, with only a couple mediocre performances throughout the competition.
The lack of HDTV was a shame though. The audio quality was generally good, although several songs started with bad mixing and levels.
Everyone I know that watched enjoyed it very much and we hope it becomes a yearly event.

Clash of the Choirs: What a treat! We were so enchanted that we did not miss one minute of the program. Finally you have given us a program that soothes the soul. And on top of it it was entertaining and a nail-biter to the end. This program was absolutely fabulous and a great pity it is over. Perhaps you could think about airing a similar program that chooses the best choir from more cities and would therefore be running for a longer period of time which would run once a week for a longer time until a winner is chosen. I am sure there are a great number of artists who would like to take part in such a program, and there will be viewers who will enjoy it tremendously. The impact of the choir music was such that we used a lot of Kleenex in our household! It was truly heartwarming, exciting and a treat for the music-lover. Again congratulations for a great program that ended too soon! Beate Zahn
The show was good, healthy and had a powerful message. The choirs were awesome produce, it is impossible to join a choir and learn 7 songs in less than 3 weeks. But they were all good, expect Patti's choir which was completely amazing and powerful. Patti Labelle and her choir brought soul and the spiritual factor to the show. You just need to look to the charts to see that people just like white pop common music, so was not a surprise that Patti's choir didn't win, but they were in another league, it is a pity they only made second place. Lets give the props to Michael Bolton, Kelly Rowland, Nick Lachey, Blake Shelton and Patti Labelle, for the wonderful show and the hard job of join 20 voice and learn many songs in a few time.
