Much to like out of this little gem but I found the narrative to be a bit sloppy and at times incoherent. I don't mind a diversion from the basic frame work of a Elm street film, but I'm not sure why the events were happening. Also, the ending really brought it from a 7 to 6 for me. Slick camera work, good acting, good editing but the plot did not resemble an elm street film at all.

...If you're not then that's not a good sign. Up All Night tells a great story that hasn't been told before. Great action, terrifying suspense and brilliant camera angles!

As a Nightmare fan I was in awe of this film, it has everything from comedy to gore, it hit every button. The whole feel of this film is so professional and polished. The plot the play out and acting was brilliant and as for the last five minutes I was like so excited I was like fist bumping thin air lol

A well made short from the uncrowded king of horror. Great little film with a few nice surprises thrown in.
Without a doubt, this was a cut above the rest of any Elm Street fan film that I have seen. Fan films often come off cheesy, not here though, not by a long-shot.
The scenes in the bar were executed extremely well. The camera angles, lighting, and atmosphere were damn near perfect. The "wanted poster" on the bathroom door was hysterical. The actors were completely convincing, especially from Rebecca Tarabocchia and Matt Shaw. The dialogue was also solid and kept me connected. The entire bar sequence was perfect, had to say it again.
The film was on par with any Hollywood studio Nightmare film that I've seen. The tone of this film was consistent and I found myself immediately drawn to these two characters.
I hope to see a feature adaptation in the future with this cast.

I found this to be a well made, well acted and polished film with some excellent effects. A welcome addition to the franchise with some great cross overs thrown in for good measure.

I enjoyed this film immensely, the actors and actress were exceptional . My only regret was that the running time for the film was not longer than it was .

Cast and crew!!! Great job. It's amazing what dedicated people can produce without a multi-million dollar budget. This one ticks ALL the boxes. Well done from the first shot to the last!! I really enjoyed the surprises!!! :)

Great fun here, made by someone who clearly loves this character as well as the genre. I think the strength is in the simplicity, not reaching for too much in the narrative and it properly hangs on the strength of the actors and direction of the plot. Great atmosphere and a really entertaining climax.

This short film pays homage to Freddy, a lot better than the remake of Elm Street.
It starts slowly but builds up to a great finish. I can't spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it, but towards the end is a treat that any true horror fan will love.

Matt Shaw has knocked it out of the park with this Short film. Nostalgic piece of horror and gore and a Freddy reveal that is second to none. Great work.

I swear Matt shaw is a complete legend, love his books but now he's branched out to films and all I can say is wow!
Tuned in to the premier of this last night, I have seen most of the nightmare on elm street films so thought I had an idea of where this was going but how wrong was I.....
You just watch it.....wow!

Really loved this film, especially as Freddy was my first horror love. Witty with an unexpected turn. If you're a fan of 80's horror you'll love it.

When I first saw that it was so short, I was very skeptical. I have now watched it twice and absolutely love it! I can't wait to share with my family when they come home! It's amazing how such a good quality film can be done in that time. The ending was...... Well, you'll have to watch for yourself and see if it was what you predict!

I didnt think Freddy fan films could get much better than the "Krueger" shorts. I was wrong. Those shorts are good, but this one edges those for me.
Great script, directing and acting. And the effects were spot on. Just watch it.
My only issue with this... not long enough, left me wanting more. And made me revisit the original movies. Amazing work.

I knew Matt Shaw wrote great books but who knew he could act too!! And write screen plays!! I thought it was great. It held my attention and then got really crazy at the end. I wasn't expecting all that! Thanks for taking me out of the real world for a moment and letting me dive into your crazy twisted world!!!!! Can't wait to see more!

This short film is nostalgia gold. Matt Shaw and his creative team have captured all the best parts of the Elm Street films. The humour is black and incisive and the reveal of Freddy masterfully realised. Can't wait to see what The Matt Shaw gets up to next.
