The information on Charles' dog tag reads: "C W KING" "CE" "25031917". The 'W' is for Walter, the 'CE' is for Church of England, and the regimental number is Walter Tull's date of death. Tull was the first Black British Officer in World War 1, and the film was inspired by and in homage to him.
