It's an excellent portray of the real life event in the life of poor child . It not only convey the agony of the boy bit also give a message to the citizens about the agony of fellow citizens.

Movie potray a very intresting and not so commonly know topic in india. We take things granted on what goes behind postmortum or manual scavanging. I am sure most people convniently ignore this very topic as they are happy that the job is done. The movie take us deep into the life of people doing the ground work for us all.

It starts a little slow in its first 20 mins or so but then catches our attention as the child take us to show how desperatly he wants to get away from this dirty work and how he finally understand the only way to come out of it.

A very good movie and wonderful acting by the 2 boys.

Me and my family were fortunate to watch " Kastoori- The Musk" movie at NFAI Pune yesterday. I would Request everyone to watch this extraordinary realistic movie based on true events. Atleast by seeing this movie our society takes some takeaways that afterall we all are humans in this world. Caste, Creed, Religion is created by us. Let us not divide the human race into different sects and religions and respect everyone. For doing this Education is the real Kastoori - The Musk and we should not deprive the marginalized from pursuing it. And I am very happy that this film has bagged coveted The Golden Lotus Award for Best Children's Film at 67th National Film Awards...Thank You Insight Films.

The story is very heart touching and is very nicely portrayed by the child actor. It also gives a very strong message to the society. I strongly recommend everyone to watch the movie.

This movie was breathtaking and inspiring. The circumstances of 14 year old boy go too deeper in meaning than any other. Additionally, the movie was so well done that while watching, it feels as though you are moved to the actual event. The characters, their development ,the emotions, the surroundings - every little detail is so well portrayed.

I felt so many strong emotions in this movie that I cannot explain. I most defiantly recommend this film to anyone who has not yet seen it.
