Oblivium

I heard about this movie and decided to give it a watch it as I have a thing for low budget horror movies. Thankfully they did not do all the silly gore attempts but rather focused on the atmosphere and storyline.

It is a fun movie that has some honest creepy scares. Not sure why Prime has it rated as 18+ as it is really more of a PG-13 outing.

The acting is better than most low budget films of this ilk and the story is original. There are some issues with the script, but I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say that sometimes you just have to go with it. I have seen bigger issues with films that have much bigger budgets.

Overall, I would say this is worth a watch and that the brother team that made it may have a career ahead of them. Kudos to all involved.
