Visual Experience that does not match in the Writing front.
To quote the closing lines from the film "If you are tormented by the suppression you can still fight back. But if you are haunted by your freedom.. then it's a calamity". This is exactly what Schirkoa wants to talk about, it builds an extraordinary world where people consider these abnormal living conditions as normal. It plays with the idea of a chosen one, It plays with the idea of making the wrong decision because you don't know the full picture and many more philosophical and political ideas. It never digs deep into them and just toys with these idea. If there was a closure this could have been a great movie, but whatever we have now is a great showcase of 'vision' of the maker. Also, This movie looks like a video game cut scene and It kept dragging me out of the movie for as long as i was watching it.
Surreal Experience
This movie is about an office worker that gets wrapped in in a cyperpunk rebellion. The story is rather straight forward with that plot point, but it meanders into truly surreal spectacle.
The animation is CGI trying to emulate stop motion, which is kinda sad since a stop motion version of this movie would rock. As it is, the character designs and animation are fine.
A strong recommendation.
