Sad to see that the end has come after sharing and laughing through 11 wonderful seasons

Maybe Mr.s Shullivan and I were expecting more than a lot of impromptu family picture taking, and what seemed like an endless stream of goodbye scenes at their respective front doorways but how does anyone actually say goodbye without flubbing it after eleven (11) wonderful seasons filled with so much genuine laughter and terrific story lines?

Mrs. Shullivan and I would like to thank the whole Modern Family clan, all the supporting cast members, cameo appearances, writers, producers, directors, and back lot workers that made Modern Family a "must see" week in, week out, year in and year out. We loved every minute of this classic and ground breaking family comedy themed TV series.

Thank you and we love you all!

    Finale Part 1

Wrapping up a long-running sitcom is harder than it looks.

You can either give the fans everything they wanted (Friends), treat it like a normal episode (Everybody Loves Raymond) or try to be creative and risk the wrath of fans (Seinfeld).

This final episode of 'Modern Family' looks like it is aiming to make fans remember all the things we've loved about it all these 11 years.

Full of heart and humour, this was a promising start to the end.

Amazing episode. The best episode so far, it was cute and very sad, I can only imagine that last episode will be even sadder

    • Trivia
The last table read happened to be on Rico Rodriguez's 21at birthday which was July 31, 2019. They also had to a tradition of including the kids in the table read at a certain age, but because Jeremy Maguire who plays Joe was not even 9 they made an exception for the last one.
    • Goofs
Despite the smashing noise, not one of the glasses actually breaks when Cam knocks them over. The glasses appear to actually be plastic.
    • Quotes

Claire Dunphy: [after Mitchell gives a moving speech about supporting Cam and moving to Missouri] Mitchell. Mitchell. That was beautiful.

Mitchell Pritchett: Well, everyone was looking at me. What the **** was I supposed to say?
