Alexander Elliot and Rohan Campbell in The Hardy Boys (2020)

Trivia

The Hardy Boys

Edit
In many episodes, a map can be seen on the wall of the police station, supposedly showing the State or County that Bridgeport is in. But in reality, this map is actually a map of Kentucky rotated 90°.
In the second series, the company named Stratemeyer Global is mentioned a several times as one of the antagonists. Stratemeyer Global is in reference to Edward Stratemeyer, the American writer who created the original Hardy Boys book serials for his publishing syndicate in 1927. Mr Stratemeyer went on to create several successful juvenile books: Nancy Drew Mysteries, The Rover Boys, The Bobbsey Twins, Tom Swift, and like.
In various episodes nearby towns Franklin and Dixon are mentioned. Of course the original Hardy Boys novels were written by various authors under the pseudonym Franklin W Dixon
In addition to the naming of Stratemeyer Industries after the originator of the Hardy Boys book series, Edward Stratemeyer, one of the characters on the show is named Mcfarlane. Leslie Mcfarlane was one of the ghost writers for many of the original books of the series.
Some episode titles are the same as some of the original Hardy Boys stories.
