Excellent writing. Superb score. And the Director and cast and crew executed the concept in a powerful way. Definitely worth the watch. I will give no spoilers, but the twist at the end is surprising and fresh.

From the moment that German 3 proclaimed that "Hans has been shot", I felt myself beginning to tear up. The raw emotion and pain that was said in this line single-handedly conveyed the horrors of war to me in the clearest way possible. I am 67 and my father was a soldier who passed away unfortunately. However, even being this close to the Second World War, I never realised quite the emotion and darkness of war until Darren Mortimer (the actor of German 3) informed the audience that Hans was indeed shot. I strongly recommend this acting performance and encourage the directors to bring German 3 back for the sequel.

Producer Martin Nuza has captured a beautiful vision that works elegantly in this movie. Director Pedro Sanchez Roman has worked well with Martin to being this vision into a great emotional film. well done to all involved in the making of this great and fresh film.
Visually rendered in a way that made me feel completely immersed in the reality of World War II, THE WOODS ENCOUNTERS had me intrigued and hooked from beginning to end and left me dabbing my eyes by the time the credits rolled. Absolutely astonishing story that's somehow both simple and complex, and will make you think.
