LOL me and my oldest son could not help but laugh. Its an awesome short amateur film.. I bet it would be more awesome as a play.
Yes definitely this should win the award for the film with absolutely no continuity whatsoever.
I put this on not expecting much, but I really did not think I'd laugh so much. Unfortunately this was not meant to be intentionally funny as it was not tagged in the comedy genre.
Trying to take a no budget indie film in a serious genre like horror or thriller is not easy to do and this film is no exception. I could not tell if there was a script or the actors were meant to improvise but the performances and dialogue were laugh out loud hilarious.
I think this film would have benefitted with better casting and properly recorded dialogue using lavs and even a bit of ADR. Less realism is more, cuz we can tell an actual Ring camera was not used.
What I liked the most here was the concept and minimal runtime. It's wonderful to see an indie half the length of typical no budgets that wear out their welcome long before it concludes.

This movie has taken 53 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Im traumatized, not from how scary this movie was, but from the questionable acting. While not scary, this movie did make laugh with how terrible it was. My poor grandma went into cardiac arrest from the boredom this movie inflicted onto her, my poor innocent granny is now bed bound, the only word that she can barely mumble is "unknown". I sit at her bedside everyday, wishing that I had listened to the previous reviews, warning me to go back a choose a different movie before it's too late. Sadly, it's too late for me and my poor granny, but it's not too late for you; please I urge you to turn back now before you end up like my granny, warn others of the utter cringe this movie will inflict on their poor souls.
Not a bad short, but has alot of continuity issues...like the sandwich and water on the table, it takes away from the scenes when it appears and disappears at will...
Did you know
- GoofsThere is a scene where the main character brings a sandwich on a plate, a bottle of water, and a large knife out to her porch and lays them on a table. Later she brings out a bottle of bleach.
The sandwich, water, and bleach appear and reappear throughout the rest of the movie. The sandwich also changes. It goes from rectangular to triangle shaped cuts and it appears to have more filling at times. The plate also moves.
