Inside the Megafire

It's fine but nothing new if you know the basics about forest fires. It actually feels very childish and simplified overall as it's a very basic intro without going into details or complicated facts. Forests fires are introduced and a few research topics are brought up but largely we just uncover that someone is studying it. We don't really learn anything newsworthy or informative we just know this stuff is going on and we can look it up ourselves if we have further questions. It's stuff you'd know about from any other similar documentary. But it's a fine overview for school kids.

There are also some facts that may be interesting to look further into like forest fires creating huge winds and then how the winds actually work overall. There is some good intro on this topic and it's largely overlooked in other docs as the fire often seems like the more serious thing by itself.

These 50 minutes PBS docs about big topics just feel like a ton of small independent scenes stitched together in a sorta random way and they are very hard to focus on as they are just overviews. And furthermore they do leave you frustrated as you feel like you are not really diving deep into any one topic.
