The film was never finished as Andy Milligan literally ran out of money before he could film the last scenes and the ending. The only surviving shooting script stops at the same point the film does, so it is not known how the film would end, nor the identity of the killer is revealed. The only detail known about the ending is the mansion was to catch fire and burn down.
Filmed and abandoned in 1979 but not released for public viewing until 2019. It premiered on byNWR, Nicolas Winding Refn's free cult movie streaming website. Refn got a copy of an unfinished work print of the film from Jimmy McDonough, Andy Milligan's biographer. Milligan gave McDonough the only surviving copy of the work print before Milligan's death. byNWR restored the film, as well as another unfinished Milligan film Compass Rose.
