Dostoievsky touch

It reminds one of Dostoievsky short stories. A 44 years old man, his younger, devotated boyfriend, a presumed heart atack and the ambulance doctor. Homophobia, imixtion in privat life of patent, sex of younger characters and the loneliness as only reasonable option for Leonid.

Many scenes, dialogue itself are more than familiar from other Soviet, Russian film.

The dialogue between Leonid and Dimitri , before presence of doctor and her assistent, the dialogue between medic and patient, the last scenes are the motives to define the film as more a seed of feelings than vehicle for story.

Because it is a film about loneliness, in precise, simple terms more than story of a gay couple. And the state of a man not far by his death, tired and conscient about vanity of everything is the motif to appreciate this admirable crafted short film.
