Karthk is a middle class employee in a private firm. Jalaja joins as a temp there . Both of them have a history . Karthik had gone to see Jalaja a few days ago as a groom but rejected her as she is very simple and non glamorous . He is very ambitious and wants the best in everything . Jalaja accepts this quietly and goes about her job. Slowly Karthik realises her nice helpful nature . Paralelly Jalaja is pursued by one of her widower collegues. In the end Karthik realises his mistake and asks her to marry him . All ends well. Jalaja is very simple and has middle class looks .
