Torn On This One

I grew up watching Star Trek TOS. I would like to see an original remake (If that makes any sense?

Since it is an alternate timeline, make it your own?) or a totally new and orginal film.

As a fan of TOS, I thought I wasn't going to enjoy the reboot movies but I have and will not hesitate to buy the new one when it comes out on blu ray.

No we would not like a remake of an already told story from Star Trek ! Lazy terrible idea Real Trekkies demand new stories !!

Star Trek needs to boldly go where no one has gone before !

Star Trek also needs a different person in charge that is not affiliated with Star Wars !!

That association alone has damaged the Star Trek Universe greatly !!!

In my opinion it has created Trekkie Erosion to eventual Trekkie Annihilation !!!!

Really... I want new but...

So we have Kahn but he isn't and wasn't wrathful (at least not because of being abandoned by Kirk), Kirk didn't die (there was that trouble with tribbles), and Spock was the genesis of the voyage home... HOW DO YOU RECREATE THE VOYAGE HOME, With the new reality characters?
