"Bosses bio" (Finnish: Bossen leffat) premiered on YLE TV1 channel on September 16, 1986, originally hosted by C.G. von Willebrand (the title of the series refers to his nickname "Bosse"). At the start of a new season in September 15, 1992, a co-host Baba Lybeck was introduced, along with the new title sequence created by Sami Liljeblad. A new co-host Monica Slotte was introduced in January 11, 1993 when the series also moved to YLE TV2 channel. Von Willebrand continued as a solo host from September 14, 1993. The final episode of the series aired in October 18, 1994. In November 1994, "Bosses bio" was replaced with the similar themed series "Filmbiten" (Finnish: Leffakärpänen) (It ran from 1994 to 1997, originally hosted by Monica Slotte).
