    Know when to fold em

Ginny is feeling overwhelmed with the idea that she might be pregnant. To make matters worse, her son Cash is in Conley Fork's annual pageant. At the same time, Arthur is selected to judge the competition. Worried that things are changing, Ginny attempts to put pressure on Arthur to fix it, so Cash wins. Overall, this was a really cute episode that also had a few heartfelt moments. The idea that the town has a pageant to see who would be the representative if aliens invade is hilarious. Anna Camp once again stills the Show as Ginny. Not only is she super funny, but she actually has a really moving moment with Arthur where they talk about how some people are at a disadvantage in life. Also, the writing was really well done. The way all the parts of the plot work together to lead to the ending was well done and hilarious. Spencer Allport (Cash) also gives a great solo that plays into the plot, which is a fun twist. All in all, it's just good TV that has both laughs and heat. I'd highly recommend watching this show if you need a feel-good pick-me-up or just a laugh.

    Great plotting!

There are two great twists at the end of this episode. The first one is a plot thickener and the second one reveals a clever character trait. When the first one occurs, you'll realize the way they set it up that you'd seen it coming. When the second one occurs, you will not have had any idea it was brewing during the story, even though they played fair and told us it might happen.

    Bravo.
