An amazing direction, acting, and description of the psychological disorder. Want more stories like this 😍😍😍
Hats off to the whole team especially Zahid Ahmed, yumna, Sania.. It's a brilliant work by zahid I have never been so attracted by any actors.. You should watch this drama n rate it too
Such a brilliant drama with amazing story line! All actors play their characters well however Zahid Ahmad as Sameer/Sameera is the best! Sami Khan does a great job playing Kashif , really emotional scene between him and Gohar! Sonya Hussain as Gohar has great chemistry both with Sameer and Kashif and have great scenes together! Some places it does drag a bit especially the story with Yumna Zaidi but overall it's worth watching it for Zahid Ahmad, Sonya Hussain and Sami Khan. The music of the drama is also mind blowing!
Must watch drama.. If you Watch once you can't forget for life time i bet..
Addictive drama of all in all
love from Bangladesh
And the lead Actor Zahid Ahmed oh my my he is a bomb.. after watched the drama he is my favourite actor of Pakistan...and actress sonya is also good and talented. All characters of this show are mind blowing. I wish i could meet Zahid for once in my life.now talk about musics..oh my goodness.. The title song is hilarious. Still i can't forget the tunes and lyrics. Background sounds are breath taking.on the other hand direction, cinematography, makeup, choreography are unforgettable.
Ishq Zane Naseeb's biggest strength lies in its' theme and narrative; severe, untreated mental illness. The character development is fine tuned, with Zahid Ahmed and Sonya Hussain playing Sameer and Gauhar with extreme finesse.
The supporting plots are well developed, but some are ignored in favour of others. Be it the budding romance between Kashif and his boss, or the numerous attempts by Jahangir to disrupt the life of his cousins, Sami Khan, Xarnish Khan carry the supporting narratives the best.
A special mention goes to the use of chronology; reverse chronological order is used in the narrative to depict the past history of Sameer, and the development of his mental illness. Whilst sometimes disruptive, it mostly serves to illustrate his journey through abuse and loss, and the slow, but steady development of dissociative identity disorder.
Sometimes the show is difficult to watch; be it the cruelty shown by Sameer's step mother, or the whispering of Shakira into his ear, during moments of abuse. Besides these moments, the show remains largely digestible as a whole.
