In "Happy Hallow-day", the Homestar Runner characters are dressed in the following costumes for Halloween: Homestar Runner is Scott Howard from the movie Teen Wolf (1985), Strong Bad is Don Novello's character Father Guido Sarducci from Saturday Night Live (1975), Pom Pom is Mario Batali, The Cheat is Gizmo from Gremlins (1984), Marzipan is Frida Kahlo, Strong Sad is Andy Kaufman's character Tony Clifton on "Saturday Night Live", Strong Mad is The Maxx, Bubs is Coach McGuirk from Home Movies (1999), Coach Z is Queen Latifah as seen once in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), The King of Town is The Gorton's Fisherman, the Poopsmith is Necron 99 from Wizards (1977), and Homsar is Martin Short's character Ed Grimley from both SCTV (1976) and "Saturday Night Live".
