First time I've felt the need to write a review but this episode may just be the best one yet! I'm sad that season four has finished but what a way to end!
Her ability to convince the audience of her emotions is uncanny. It's as if she was born into this profession. Her acting, and now directing is second nature and second to none. This episode is proof the The handmaid's tale success is due to her talents. The final scenes of the season 4 finale are raw and unexpected. Elisabeth Moss' June Osborne will be remembered as one of the great acting achievements of television history. Think Walter White. She is amazing !
Season 5 will be greatly anticipated. So much credit for the success is also owed to Ann Dowd !

"Those who fight monsters, should make sure they won't become one". Well, June became one. Acted like one. She was changed into a monster slowly in lasy episodes, today was her Zenith point (so far). Blood revenge, but no justice. Let's see in season 5 if she will regret or pay for this.
While the first season of "The Handmaid's Tale" is absolutely brilliant and captivating, season 4 is left on its own to come up with a compelling storyline. Yes, in certain respects it succeeds, however, for most of season 4, slow-mo fillers are used to stretch the running time, as an attempt to disguise that the creators are truly running out of material. The slow stares while driving a car, the slow-motion walks, the sunshine glowing through a window, the hazy ambience of Canadian skyscrapers - several minutes of fillers are used without anything really happening. When things do happen, some events get silly and some subplots abruptly get abandoned, including the most interesting part with Esther, Janine, and Aunt Lydia.
Ok so maybe it's just me. But, if I was stuck wearing all that red nonsense for years, I would never in life again wear anything red!! Just another one of the little things that drive me nuts about June.
