As for the production, it was good, the animation was good, at times it got better, and the soundtrack was also good.

I never felt like I had enough, I think there was a lot to offer to Nikoma from other stories and situations, I wanted more because I am very interested in other schools like Nikoma, so why not see more seriousness in writing events!?.

But that doesn't mean Ova was bad, You will enjoy as much as I did. If you love Haikyuu a lot and are interested in other teams, especially Nekoma, you should watch the OVA.

It's an OVA so you can't expect too much. Obviously there's a minor downgrade in animation. There's no storyline really, so don't expect to get immersed into Nekoma's team like you did for Karasuno.
